The S&W 78G .22 Cal. Co2 Pellet Pistol.  100% designed and Made in the USA.  The 78G & 79G, were modeled after the S&W 41 Target pistol. These were manufactured in the US by Smith & Wesson between 1970-1978.  These are one of the most powerful Co2 pistols ever produced. This specific pistol shoots close to 500 fps and produces 8 FPE.  The quality is second to none and they have an all-metal construction, weighing in at hefty 2.65 lbs. This pistol is also extremely accurate, shooting under 3/4″ at 11 yards.  The pistol also has fully adjustable sights for windage and elevation.  This model also has the rare 2-stage trigger and the two-position cocking slide.  If you want to shoot at a lower velocity, simply cock the slide to the first position.  These also feature a power adjustment screw under the barrel.  This pistol is in exceptional condition with all the original finish.  It appears as New.  It comes in the original box, with the original can of S&W pellets, the Co2 Box with full Co2 Cartridges, and an Owner’s Manual.  This is a true collector’s dream.  Additionally, I Fully-Tuned this pistol.  I upgraded the needle valve, replaced all the seals, polished the trigger and slide.  I also, upgraded both the Hammer Spring and the Trigger Spring.  Again, this model is made of all metal with synthetic grips.  This is the exact airgun, I reviewed on December 29, 2023 “Rare & Unusual Series.”  This is your chance to own a piece of history and one of the best Co2 Pellet Pistols every made.  Check out the video which will show you the exact performance of this pistol. Again, these are no longer manufactured and are nearly impossible to locate in this original condition.
