This was a great video! Do you have any idea when this gun will be on the market?
I have a message into Gamo and I am hoping to hear a reply. I would think very soon. I happen to know a Gamo Rep and I was lucky enough to get one early.
Just bought one last night from Bass pro shop in Orlando, Florida- shipped to PA. There were a couple other locations in Florida but all with limited quantities. Hope this helps….
Anyone know where I can buy a swarm magnum gen2 magazine? Only having the one that comes with the rifle could be troublesome if it breaks?
Thanks
I’m not a fan of two stage triggers and was wondering what your setting was in the first stage when you adjusted the second stage down using your replacement screw?
Ps, I’m a a 59 year old rediscovering backyard shooting. My new Gami will be used for plinking and hunting.
I personally like a very light first stage. I like to pull the trigger and then feel the wall at the 2nd stage. Then I know a little more pressure and the rifle will fire. I have the first stage adjustment screw, the screw that is actually in the trigger, which only applies to the CAT trigger, adjusted about half way.
Good video thank you. 50pound cooking is very hard . What will you recommend a lighter cooking that has .22 pilots. But i need at lase 1200 fps .
Than you
Look at the Octane models I have listed for sale on my site.
AGD. Thank you for the great post. I have a new Gamo Swarm Magnum .22 Cal and am mounting a BSA Outlook 3-9×40 Air Rifle Scope. I am having a problem adjusting the eye relief. With the scope mounted as far back as I can in the mounts, I have a very small sight picture at high magnifications in my normal shooting position and I need to reduce the eye relief more by moving the scope back. Can I simply move the Scope Mounting Rail back? It has Rail Stop behind it. Do I just move them both back? Thank you in advance for your advice. First time I have ever mounted a scope.
I have been looking at acquiring a decent air rifle that I can shoot at around 50 yards at least. Accuracy a priority and possibility to use hunting.
I hear.177 is usually more accurate, but in videos I have seen it seems the .22 cal Gamos outperform their .177 counterpart in accuracy and penetration. So after looking long and hard, I came to either Gamo 10x Gen 2 Magnum or Maxim in .22 cal.
In your opinion, does the Magnum have a significant enough superiority over the Maxxim to justify the extra $100.00 additional cost?
Keep in mind you will get more power out of the Magnum but it is much more difficult to cock. You are looking at about 200 FPS in a .22 caliber and another 2 FPE.
